| bully sticks What size bully sticks do you give your yorkies? I am so afraid of her choking on one. She gets quite aggressive when it comes to any bones or bully sticks? |

| I buy the 6 inch. The 12 inch would take to long to go through and I like to toss them out after a while. |

Then I wouldn't give her any! Anything that makes Buddy act like that he can not have. I would try first to sit on the floor with her and hold the bone or bullystick for her to chew. Don't release it. Let her chew for a few minutes then remove it. Later do this again and again until you feel she is more comfortable in sharing. Sometimes this works sometimes it dosent. Buddy got aggressive in the past with certain things and I will not give them to him again. Take charge. As they mature they do calm down some when they trust you with their sepcial things. It took us lot's of time but he now shares things with me. If he dosen't he never sees it again. My only way of taking charge. I got the 12" ones for him. I was afraid of him chocking as well. Once it reached about 3" I tossed it. | |

| I give Bailey the 6" bully sticks. She loves them and eats them really fast - so I hold them for her and allow her to eat only eat 25% of it at a time - she gets three "bites at the apple" a week - then I toss the stub. She's never been aggressive towards me about them - they're just very special to her.
