| limping My 9 month old Yorkie has developed a limp in what looks like her right front leg. I've researched some of the genetic diseases such a Legg-Perthes, and Pattelar Luxation , but these seem to affect the hind legs only. She's stiff and limps more when she just wakes up but seems fine on our daily walks. I have'nt seen the vet yet, I'm afraid of what she'll tell me... Anyone have experience with orthopedic problems??? |

| Is she holding her leg when she is standing? If it has gone on for a while it is best to see the vet. My Little maltese cross was limping after a day out with her Uncle - turned out she had brusied her paw pad it was sore for about a month. Go and see the vet the worry is proberbly worse than knowing Hope she is feeling better soon

| Luxation can occur in front legs too, or it could be any number of things...see the vet asap. |

| I would see the vet. It could be anything from a sore muscle, torn ligament to something serious. But they'll be able to tell you and give you some peace of mind. |

It can't hurt to see the vet (except the pocketbook...of course) but she may have landed wrong and twisted it. | |

| crickets limping Thanks everyone for your great replys....... I did wanna mention that the limping started after she stepped on a bee and was stung. We removed the stinger, so I did'nt really think it was related. Some days are definately worse than others, but I know that seeing the vet would set my mind at ease. Thanks again, I'll keep ya posted |

| Well, personally, I would save my money. I am almost sure it's because of the sting. It happened right after it, and even tho you took out the stinger, it still hurts. So, I would give her a few days and see if it gets better, which I bet it does. Good luck! |
