| Weird eating habit Tobie has the weirdest eating habit and it's driving me crazy. My other 3 dogs are on senior dog food and Tobie is on puppy food. When I feed them, I have to put their food in the hallway and put up a gate while they eat or Tobie will eat their food instead of his. I give Tobie his food in the living room but he will sit at the gate and watch them while they eat their food and not even touch his. As soon as they are finished and I remove the gate, Tobie will run over to his food and lay in front of or near it and watch them to make sure they aren't coming near it. If one of them starts heading towards his food, he will run over there and start eating it. Once they leave, he will stop eating and just go back to guarding it. If they come back, he will do this all over again. Occasionally they do get to it and I have to get on to them for eating Tobie's food. Problem is, if I leave the room for a bit and come back and the food is gone then I have no idea if Tobie ate it or one of the other dogs. I've thought about just taking it up if he doesn't eat all of it within a certain time but I put yogurt on his food so I can't just put it back and I can't afford to throw it out. Should I just give him the yogurt separately? I'm worried that he isn't getting the amount of food he needs everyday... what should I do??? NOTE: He doesn't just like the taste of their food more than his because one day I ran out of the senior dog food and had to give them all puppy food for that day. Even when they all had the same food, he would still run over and try to eat out of their bowls while they were eating. It's just like he wants what they have.

| Awww, he sounds so cute!!! How old is Toby? I'm sure you're gonna get some great suggestions, but the first thing that comes to mind is to feed them an All Life Stages food - that way they can all be eating the same food. My five range in age from 13.5 years to 7.5 months and they all eat the same food. I know you may have different circumstances with your seniors but it's a thought. Good luck!!
