| My little furbaby had the same problem. The medicine that you are referring to is called Cerenia and I used to give it to my little Bella before we went on long trips. She has since started to grow out of her car sickness and I don't use it anymore. Now I just don't get her anything to eat for approx an hour or two before we leave and she does very well.

| My Cosmo gets terrrible car sickness no matter how long the car ride is as well. I tried all kinds of stuff from herbs to taking quick drives around the block every day to try and condition him to thinking it was a positive thing. I recently discovered that if I put him in his carrying case and sit the case on the front seat, that he no longer gets sick. We are theorizing that it was the window view (everything wooshing by) that upset his tummy, because now that he can't see the windows, he's fine! It's worth a shot if you haven't tried this and don't typically contain him in the car. |

| I was just wondering how your baby rides in the car?- in a carrier or in a car seat? We have 2 snoozer lookout carseats and mine do not get carsick anymore like they did in carriers. |

| I can relate. Frankie gets unbelievably sick every time. It doesn't matter where he is-carrier, seat, dog seat. It doesn't matter when he last ate--even on empty, he'll throw up 15 times during a nine minute car ride. Tried the conditioning--nothing. Nothing works. You think this guy would have an aversion to going in the car. Not him, he WANTS to go everytime I get my keys. I put old towels down on the seat. It's my only solution. Poor guy, he's 5 months old. Do you think there is a chance he will ever outgrow it?

| I was going to say just what Bellaandhelen said. I got the lookout car seat also (really cheap too I want to say like $17) and Pixel has only been sick in the car once since, and that's because I fed him JUST before leaving. Try that too, make sure not to feed for an hour or so before leaving. Good luck! |
