YT 2000 Club Member | avacaodo's Ive read on this forum that they are a food that shouldnt be fed.. however on my search for a skin and coat supplement for my dogs and cats I came across AVODERM, which is made with avacado oils.. here is the link to thier website and what they have to say about it. AvoDerm Natural and Avocado Safety so is it bad or not??? and can anyone recommend a supplement that I can give to BOTH my dogs and cats... thanks

| I use and highly recommend Ark Naturals' Royal Coat Express. It's great becuase it not only has the fatty acids EPA & DHA from salmon oil, but it also has the fatty acids GLA & LA from borage oil which are very beneficial for skin. When giving salmon oil, you must supplement with Vitamin E, and this already has the Vit E in it. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | I'm glad I saw this. I had seen on the board that avacados were bad for dogs, which really surprised me. It's good to know the flesh is safe. Finally Thor can have his guac and chips again. (kidding!)
