| ![]() Hello I started cooking due to allergies in my oldest Yorkie which I believe has helped after just a few weeks however now they all have stinky breath. Yes I do wash their faces after eating and comb through with a comb. I think this is coming odor is from food stuck in their teeth. Also my male doesn't like the food getting on his beard LOL...I kid you not! He has never had anything but dry and the girls too. The girls could care less though and chow down. He does like the food but kinda dances around the plate trying grabbing a bite here and a bite there...How funny it is! I think he is not getting enough eating like that. If I hand feed him he eats plenty but I don't want to do that every feeding every day and night. Pulse I can not leave this food out all day.....Soooooo So I am thinking of yes reverting back to Kibble maybe Blue Buffalo fish and potato. I never used this brand before. I was using "Nature's Recipe"Farm Stand Select" but it made Furgie chew her paws even more. I think it's the (sugar) fruit in it. !please help me! Ordering online is too costly for us! If anyone knows a better brand that I can get at PetSmart (that is all we got here) please advise. Thanks in advance!!! Sugaroo, Furgie, Sebastian, Sophie ![]() |

| ![]() That's about the best you can do at PetSmart as far as I know. Ellie eats homecooked and her breath is fine but their teeth need to be brushed daily no matter what they eat.

| ![]() Thanks Ellie May! I been researching their site all morning. And I think so too. ...now as far as bruising goes I brush them 2x's a week and I have to fight to do that! Still that wont solve Sebastian's quirkiness about the wet food. I hate that I am quitting but I just gotta do what I gotta do or hand feed him every time. ![]() BB is good? right? it's on the good list! Gees I feel so confused trying to choose whats right for them all. |

| ![]() BB seems to be okay but I'm not sure where it is manufacturer which would be a deal maker or breaker for me. Do you know what ingredients she is allergic to?

| ![]() Ellie I do not. I have been through a lot of $$$ at the vets in the last 8 months with Furgie...dips, 22 dollar special shampoo, benadryl, then claritin all except allergy testing. I told the Doc I wanted to try home cooking first. Then we will do meds if this does not work...He agreed and side so I know there are other meds that I work besides steroids. Thank Goodness! And that is not all of it....I just had to have a tooth extracted last month one of her baby teeth would not come out. NOW another problem. I think!!! I just got back inside. I took them out one-by-one to brush their teeth cause I thought I could see better outside. And so I could, well guess what???? Both my puppies (8 mo and 10 mo) have loose jaw molars...The BIG teeth in the back are loose is that normal or have I been brushing too hard? And maybe that is why the stink!!!
