| Switched to Wellness I went ahead and bought a bag of Wellness Chicken super 5 or max 5 is it called? I can't remember exactly. Anyways we were getting very low on the Blue Buffalo so I thought I'd give the dogs a switch to Wellness and see how they do on this. I don't think I will have enough to mix half and half for a week and I really don't want to go get another bag of Blue just for a week. I know my Bull terrier has a sensitive stomach and it may upset her a bit, but Stormy seems to do okay on switching foods. I was just looking online at reviews and I can't help but see quite a few negative feedback about the food causing alot of diaherra and vomit. I guess I need some reassurance that this is a good food and I made the right choice. Stormy has been doing so well I want her to get the very best nutrients and continue to thrive. On a side note I picked up some of the Merricks bully stix and both dogs are NUTS about them!!! |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I've been feeding wellness to my dog and cats for years now. My one cat has been on it for close to 10 years now and my yorkie has been eating it for 3 years. My new kitten has been eating it for 8 months now. No problems whatsoever for any of them. nice firm stools that aren't smelly. my cats both has beautiful shiny coats and morgan's is so soft and fluffy (she has a cotton coat so its not really shiny like silk coats but its beautiful in its off poof ball way )

| Wellness is a nice brand, and many dogs have been on it with no problems. It is a good food, so if your dogs like it and are doing well, you've made a great choice. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I didn't mix half and half for a week, the way I do it is mix 1/4 part new food with 3/4 part old food the first day. If there are no symptoms, I mixed 1/2 of old with 1/2 of new the second day, again looking for symptoms. On one food I tried, there were too many symtoms such as excessive tearing, that I never got past the 1/2 mark, but if there are no symtoms, you would give 3/4 of the new, with 1/4 of the old, on the third day. The fourth day would be all new food, or you could continue to use up the old food, if you wish.

| We just switched too. They were on Science Diet, so we are mixing the Wellness Puppy food with that. I don't think they like and if mommy just bought 6lbs of food for $17 she won't be happy. We were on Royal Canine first. |
