| Yorkie dandruff?? Hi. I have a male yorkie who is approx. 3 months old and he has developed sores on his body! There are not too many, but I now notice that he has dandruff? Could anyone please guide me on how to fix this as it has become a concern of mine and would like him to be healthy! Regards |

| You might want the vet to do a skin scraping. My Chloe had what looked like dandruff when she was 5 months old and it was diagnosed as ringworm. After a couple of visits for them to dip her she was back to normal. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Since there are sores, it does sound like ring worm, and should get this treated as fast as possible, this is something that dogs and humans can pass back and forth. Here's a good article with more information. Ringworm in Dogs - Pictures of Ringworm -Symptoms and Treatment

| It could also be mange, shortly after I got Cooper, he started itching a lot. He developed small little crusty sores in his ears and on his belly. When I took him to the vet, he did a skin scraping and found that he had sarcoptic mange.

| Oh and when I got him he also had terrible "dry skin". Or that's what the breeder told me it was.
