| How do I get my 2 yr. old yorkie's hair to shine again? He eats Royal Canin hypoallergenic (licks his paws) and shampoo and conditioner are Gold Plus (I think that is the name). My vet suggested Derm caps liquid but very expensive and I have read that mineral oil is good. Any suggestions?

| i think you should try with other food as well, royal c. is not the best one out there and in can have something to do with his hair. Adding some vitamins to his diet also might help. Lastly, many members rave about minksheen shampoo. I have tried it on my girl, and i like it, it does give a shinny smelly coat, only complain i have it that is that the effect lasts only a few days (meaning you must shower more often than with other products, at least imo)

Also, in terms of shampoo, conditioner and de-tangling spray I LOVE the Coat Handler brand. It's a high quality brand, and the de-tangling spray doesn't contain oil or silicon (a lot of other brands do). Smalls good too Here's some info on this product: Coat Handler Info
