| Adult Teeth Growing In, Baby Teeth Still Not Out My puppy Chewy is 6 months old. Within the last week he lost his two front bottom teeth. I was very happy to see that he wasn't having any trouble until i noticed his top two front adult teeth already growing in as well as two of his canine teeth before the baby teeth have fallen out. I'm unsure of what to do, and if i should worry yet. Should I get to the vet ASAP or wait it out for a little while? If i do end up going to the vet to have them pulled, what is average of how much this will cost me ? Money is no issue! Just a question of how much to bring with me =\ ... So worried about my baby & also is this a long procedure ? Thanks |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Generally retained baby teeth are removed at the same time they are neutered and the cost is nominal...and generally considered safer because you are putting them under anesthesia one time. If you aren't planning on neutering...it runs in the 250-350 range...depending on the number of teeth removed and what pre-op blood work you have completed.

| cash looked like a shark for a while and all the vet did was say to come back if he looked uncomfortable or if i thought they were getting infected. eventually the baby teeth fell out on their own. |
