| Is nutro safe? Hello ive had my yorkie for a week now and ive been feeding him nutro ultra puppy. I was just browsing the web and seen theres been numerous complaints against nutro dog food for sudden death and illness in cats and dogs. My pup has been doing fine and ive used it in the past with other animals. Should i continue using or switch? What is your recomendation and what experience have you had? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I agree - I would stay far away from Nutro, both bc of what has happened to dogs and how long it took to do anything about it.

| I wouldn't feed it. I fed it for maybe a week and nothing happened and at first, I didn't think it was a big deal but I got scared and switch. There's just been TOO many stories and complaints!

| Look at Dog Food Reviews - Dry Dog Foods - Powered by ReviewPost for the different ratings of dog food. I like this link because it explains what they looked for to determine the rating. Edited - I fed Nutro for about 1 year without a problem until I heard about the problems. There are many foods that haven't had many problems about the same price, so better safe than sorry.
