| Really Bad Motion Sickness In Car My little Chewie is such a sweetie. She gets the worst motion sickness in the car. I have her in her crate and we'll be in the car only 5 minutes and she'll start throwing up. The last time I had her in the car she threw up like ten times! I always make sure that if I know that she'll be riding in the car that I don't feed her for a while before. The last time I took her in the car around 2:30. She hadn't eaten food since 7 am and she still got sick all over. Is there anything I can do or give her to make this more pleasant? I feel really bad for her because I feel like I can't do anything to make it any better. Any advice is greatly appreciated. If it helps, the breeder did tell me her mother had bad car sickness. So I guess it is inherited???!!!??

| she probably gets sick cause she is in the crate in the car.. maybe you can get a car seat where she can look out the window in the front seat. im sure that would help a whole bunch. .

| Some on here have suggested ginger snaps for car sickness, but, it never helped mine. I give my Deuce 1/2 a "bonnie" tablet. Its over the counter, like dramamine, but without the drowiness. Check with your vet on the dosage; Deuce is 8.5 lbs and 1/2 is just right for him. Hope this helps.

| I agree with this. Molly was always sick when she travelled on the back seat, but is fine in the front. Human passengers now have to go in the back, which doesnt always go down very well!! |
