| Changing from Royal Canin to Innova???? Ok so I am wondering if anyone has switched their dog food from Royal Canin to Innova due to allergies, or even because they wanted a better food with better ingredients? I am seriously thinking on switching and would like to know if any of you have done the same? Any thoughts would be very appreciated!!! Thanks!

| I switched Apple from Eukanuba to Innova Puppy Dry a few weeks ago, and she is doing beautifully! The best thing is she loves the Innova...In the beginning, when I was giving 75% Eukanuba to 25% Innova, she would pick all the Innova out and only eat the Eukanuba when she got really desparate...She's now on all Innova, and I have to measure her food out, twice a day (she's 5 months old)...I'm still leaving a few tablespoons of Eukanuba out, when I go to work, in case she gets hungry...I researched a long time, before deciding on Innova, and I'm really impressed w/the holistic approach and pure ingredients...Her stools are perfection (if you can use perfect to describe a stool...lol)...I did notice a little bit of gas the first couple of days, but now she just has that cute little burp, after meals, because she eats more at one sitting....All the best to you and your baby, as you make the switch! Love, Maggie & Apple xoxoxo |

| So I went for it and got the Innova and they love it. I gave 25% to 75% tonite and they did the same. They picked through to get to the Innova! Do you think that it will bother them too much if they pick through it. I am going to leave the rest for the AM and in hopes that they finish the rest of the mix! So far so good!

| Well, I don't think they'll eat much at night...I'd do the 75/25 mix in the morning...do that for 3-5 days, then 50/50 for 3-5 days then 25/75 for 3 days, then all innova...Innova told me to do the switch using a week for each time, but I read other places said 3 - 5 days, and that worked for Apple...If your baby eats all the Innova in the morning, then she'll eat the rest throughtout the day...Then you can start over in the morning Glad she likes the Innova...I think it's a great food, and many, on here, use it.... Bon Apetite! Maggie & Apple xoxoxox |

| Rocky and Carlie love their Innova food. They have been on it for about 6 weeks.

| Can you buy Innova anywhere? Is it large enough morsels that they have to chew (instead of tiny bites)? |

| I feed Apple Innova Puppy, and they are small bites...About the same as eukanuba puppy, but they are triangles, instead of round...They also have adult dry food for small breeds...that must be small too...Not everyone sells their product, but go to www.innova.com and find a retailer in your zip code.... |

| I recently switched from RC to California Natural, another Natura food. I have been extremely pleased. Maddie gobbles it up. I think the Natura lines are quality foods. |

| I started my yorkie out on Royal Canin because I thought it was a quality food. After some research, I realized it wasn't as good as I wanted my dog to eat. Next I fed him Blue Buffalo because I couldn't find a store that sold Innova. Finally, for his 4th bag, I finally found Innova. My puppy actually liked the Royal Canin best, but now he's been eating Innova for over six months and is used to it. My dog won't eat any dry food without something extra added to it. Every meal I give him a spoonful of boiled chicken, ground turkey, cottage cheese, and if I don't have anything else, even a little water drained from a can of tuna. Very little of any of the additives, just a teaspoon. His stools are perfect and he's a perfect weight for his size. He eats a heaping 1/4 cup of Innova twice a day, and weighs 6.2 pounds at 12 months old. The only time he's had a loose stool was when I gave him a bite or two of canned dogfood mixed with his dry. NEVER AGAIN!
