| Teeth Brushing I read that yorkies teeth should be brushed every day in this month's issue of Dog Fancy magazine. At what age should I start brushing Romo's teeth? He's only 2 months old |

| the sooner the better- yes those baby teeth are going to fall out but this is the PERFECT time to get him used to it- chances are he wil never love having it done- I do Layla's daily and she still puts up a fuss but she puts up with it! As for toothbrushes- i find that an infant/toddler toothbrush works best- nice and small for their tiny little mouths |

| start now!! I started brushing Lola's when she was a puppy with dog toothpaste. They even come with a small head toothbrush. She is now totally used to it. She doesn't like it but lets me brush and even let's me open her mouth wide to get the back ones and she is now 2 yrs. old. I don't do it everyday but do make sure to do it at least 2 or 3 times a week. Her teeth look great--no tartar |

| You can also get an enzyme toothpaste from your vet, I think the brand I use is C.E.T. (mine like chicken flavored). It stays in their mouth and helps to kill the bacteria. I put it on a "finger brush" (Petco has them) and let them take a taste, then just gently lift the side of the upper lip and slide it in. They lick and you brush. I have two babies around 6 months and they don't mind this at all. Good luck.
