| Question about Brewer's Yeast I was just wondering if anyone knew if Brewer's Yeast is ok for our furbabies. I recently read some where that it may not be good for there liver and I give my little on a tablet a day for repelling fleas. I thought it was safe...Dose anyone know? Thank, DebraK |

| Thanks for your reply...When I read that it may harm the liver it scared me!!! It works very well for repelling the fleas. My little one had a very bad reaction to Advantage (seizure) When I found this product I was so excited because it was natural. I was looking online about ingrediants in some Dog foods and they listed it as may cause damage to the liver. Do you still use it? Thanks, DebraK <J>< |

I have a holistic dog care book and it says it is just fine- as well as adding a small amount of garlic (which is usually controversial- however I think in small amounts it is ok). where did you read it may be harmful? i've seen it added to dog kibbles and many over the counter supplements. | |

| Ooooo!!!!I'm so mad at myself for not saving that site. I have just been looking all over trying to find it. But Yeah, they did say that it was in some dog foods. They were listing the ingredients by number with 5 being the best and one being the worst and the Brewer's yeast was listed as a one. They were also saying why they listed it at that number. I wish I could find it...that will teach me. DebraK <J>< |
