| Cottage Cheese cause farting?? Hello... Has anyone experienced their pups farting after eating cottage cheese. Snick has had cottage cheese (skim milk fat free) with his apples for his afternoon snack for the past 2 days and yesterday he farted twice and it was pretty rank!! He was on 1% milk fat last week....let me know THANKS

| Your pup may be lactose intolerant. Stop giving cottage cheese and see if it goes away is my best suggestion. Good Luck! That is pretty gross! LOL

| Hahaha I know it is gross. I know Snickers isn't lactose intolerant b/c he eats cheese and yogurt with no gas. But I think I will switch back to yogurt after the bombs he dropped yesterday!! My dad said he has the same reaction with cottage cheese....eww!!! lol!! THANKS!!

| I read on here a while ago that cottage cheese actually helps alleviate said problem.

| Lulu Belle has some pretty deadly ones but I haven't given her any dairy. She actually fits in pretty well with my hubby and 2 sons!

| as it is with humans, i would suggest that it is food combining issue (dairy/fat with a sub-acid fruit) fruits digest very quickly and with other food items, like cottage cheese and the fat therein, it causes the fruit to ferment and cause gas, and even indigestion/discomfort |
