Skinny Millie :-( Hi, My princess Millie doen't seem to be putting on any weight. She is eating dry food. I'm not sure exactly of her weight but there isnt a bit of fat on her. She is 9 months old and hasnt grown for roughly 3/4 months. Does anyone have any tips on how to get her to put on weight? or is this normal is she just a skinny min? :-( Another thing is her hair started to change colour a few months back, but its kind of stopped, how long does it normally take for their hair to fully change? Many Thanks for all you help in advance xxx

Are you free feeding her? Lots of puppies don't put on weight til a year old. As far as hair color it can change up to 2 years. If you want her to gain wieght are you giving her extra treats that are nutrious. An underweight dog is better then one that is overweight. I wouldn't worry as long as she is healthy

Baxter is just over a year old and he has no fat on him either. The vet says A OK so I am not going to worry about it. He eats whenever he wants and gets treats. I think it is just because they have so much energy that they burn off the calories.
