| quick yogurt question... i heard that yogurt is accpetable for dogs so i bought Dannon all natural lowfat vanilla for bailee...there is cultured grade A reduced fat milk,sugar,natural vanilla and pectin...it was the blandest i could find, is this ok?

| If you don't mind giving sugar, it is fine. Otherwise you will need to use plain. I see no problem with a small amount of sugar (not artificial sweetener) occasionally.

| ok thanks ellie may, i looked and that was the blandest i could find but next time ill try to find some minus the sugar, thanks for your help!

| Dannon does make a nonfat plain yogurt...it comes in the small containers. Thats what i give Pasquale.

| I use the vanilla that come in the cups. It is lower in sugar then the others. I only give it to her every once in a while. I asked my vet when I first got Suri and she said that vanilla or plain is fine, a little sugar is okay.

| I prefer Stonyfield Organic plain yogurt or Dannon plain. Just be very careful never to feed any artificially sweetened yogurt like Yoplait. Artificial sweeteners can be toxic to dogs. |
