My vet talked me into buying some flea medication last night called Vectra 3D.We were using Promeris until it made Lily realy sick!Does anyone have any input on this medication?I only bought 1 month.

If ticks aren't a major problem in your area, I would not use it.
I think it is Frontline with permethrin added for the ticks.
Permethrin has been known to make the dog feel like bugs are crawling on it and there seems to be some links to more serious issues that you wouldn't necessarily have as high of a risk with if using Fronline Plus alone.

I am in lower Michigan and not to many ticks in my yard as of last summer.I see your in Michgan to,what do you use?

Our yard is sprayed, so I don't have to use anything.
When I do, it is Fronline Plus.
I use Interceptor for heartworms.
