Tatum is now out of her GlycoFlex and I want to order some Cosequin today. If I'm not mistaken though, there are several different kinds of it. Which one do you all use for your babies? The exact name would be very helpful as I am new to this stuff and I am still pretty clueless

Also, where is the cheapest place to buy it online? I am going to search around myself, but I always of course ask my Yorkie friends first

I am getting the Capsules for Brownie & not using the Caseing. The capsules are the Only one's without Liver & beef flavor.

Thanks so much Lenora! So how do you do these? Would I be able to just sprinkle the powder into a little piece of cheese or something? I can't put it on their food because Stedman eats out of the same bowl and I don't know which baby would be getting how much of it - if that makes any sense.

Can you tell me the exact name of what is listed on the bottle? I mean I know it's Cosequin - but what exactly does it say on the bottle? I looked online and I am just so confused

P.S. - I wonder how the Chews are??

These are the ones i get for Oliver...i open the capsule and put in over his food..

We are getting the capsules because of Brownie allergies.

I'm going to take a little Dry food Make it mushy & wet & sprinkle it on there. Brownie can't have anything else so it's the only way.

One question - I found them online here (the 90 count): Cosequin Capsules - Allivet Trusted Pet Pharmacy for $29.99 - these are the right ones, correct? I'm almost positive they are but I just want to make sure first before I order them

If the Cosequin is for your yorkie the Cosequin for Cats Capsules is the correct dosage.

Yes this is the right one It's for small dogs & cat's.

Yep - this is the same version I used for Wylie - and I just open the cap and sprinkle 1/2 cap on his food!

yup!

i have them too and will sprinkle 1/2 a cap on morgan's food. i don't use this as religiously as i should tho.

hmm i saw this at petco today and i was curious because i don't know exactly what its for... is this safe for all yorkies? like is it something we should be giving our babies or is it like a vet recommended thing for certain dogs?

Cosequin is a supplement containing glucosamine used to help with arthritis and joint problems. Since yorkies often develop luxating patellas, a lot of owners will give this to help with pain and mobility. Others give it sort of as a preventitive - to help in case a joint problem develops later. It's an amazing product.

I know Petsmart carries it. Most feed stores do, too.
