| At what age do you go to twice a day feedings? Tatum is 18 weeks old and eats very well. She has quite a belly also. At what age do you go to 2 feedings a day? Also, what times do you feed them? Thanks for helping!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I think it really depends on weight (whether they are tinies and therefore, develop later) and whether their blood sugar shows to be stable. You could also free feed...

| She weighs about 2.6 pounds. She has never had any problem with sugar levels dropping yet. If I leave food down she seems to not eat during the day. Thats why I thought I would feed morning and night. I guess I won't know until I try it. Thanks for answering me.

Personally, I would not take the chance of blood sugar dropping , that can be deadly in a little yorkie like yours.

| I changed to twice a day feedings when my furbaby began not really eating her noon meal anymore. I free feed her now, but she'll get a morning meal and an evening meal. |
