You may want to check out: Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble It shows that AvoDerm is a 2 star food, Canidae and Wellness are both 5 stars. Check out reviews, etc. on that site! Hope that helps! | |

| Out of those Wellness is the only one I have really looked into so I can't really say much about the others.. Dog food analysis is a good site. It is the opinion of the people who run it , but you can still see all the ingredients listed in each food and the amount of stars it's given and that should help you to make a decision. Good luck ! I know it's a hard decision !!!

| I would suggest you read some of the other food threads and the reply posts made. There is a poll asking YT members what do/how do they feed their Yorkies i.e. dry, wet, home cooking. There is a thread listing companies that will send you a small sample bag of dry food. The "Interesting" thread in this forum illustrates how passionate people feel about what they feed their little ones. The decision rests with you but it is best to be informed and read the ingredient labels. I give the "Boyz" Natural Balance kibble and Merrick canned.

| I have a huge half bag of wellness left because I couldn't stand how much they started pooping Several times a day and it was soft and smelled horrible!!! This went on for almost 1.5 months before I couldn't take it anymore. Different dogs react differently though!

I only want to feed kibble and I want to be able to buy it in a store, which means I dont want to buy a kind that is ONLY sold online. I probably will request some samples however to see which one my baby likes, so its nice that they are willing to send them!

| I haven't looked into Nature's Choice. Canidae is made at Diamond and that's a red flag for me. Avoderm is based on giving dogs avocado which may not be safe at all. I would choose NB or Wellness depending on age, body score/weight, allergies/medical conditions and how they reacted on the food. I probably would not feed the fish kibbles from either brand right now.

| I like to refer to the food analysis post we have to better understand what is good for him and what isn't. This way you can make an informed decision based on you babies needs, and the contents of the food.

| We're using natural balance right now and can say she doesn't poop alot on it! We used Royal Canine and she pooped a couple times daily. Stormy was on Diamond, I remember the lady mentioning it when I bought her |

| I'm currently feeding her Canidae, but I'm planning to switch her over to Natural Balance. On Canidae she poops several times a day (3-4x) and I hope with Natural Balance she'll poop less.
