| What should I feed my Yorkies? I have 3 yorkies. They are 3 1/2 yrs, 2 yrs, and my pup is 9 months. All Females. I wanted to change their dog food but not sure to what. Sassy who is 3 1/2 has dry skin so she needs something that doesn't contain chicken or corn. I would like a dog food that they all 3 can be on too. Thanks for your help :-) |

| Wellness Core looks really good. My guy is on a prescription food and when he goes off it we are getting this one.

| I am not an expert by any means. I am a new yorkie owner, but after quite a bit of research I decided that wellness made a good food. I have tried it with my puppy, but he doesn't seem to like it. He hardly eats anything. I have tried sticking it out, but I think I am going to switch to Merrick. I bought some for my Golden Retriever and Harley is always trying to steal it, but when I take him to HIS food he won't eat it. I talked to someone at our local pet store and he said he likes Merrick better because they freeze dry all the veggies and put them in after everything else is cooked, so the good stuff isn't cooked out. I am hoping if I switch to this he will actually eat it! I am hoping he doesn't just want the other food because it doesn't belong to him. I think that Wellness is probably still a good food though.I hope this helps you in your decision. Sorry it is so long. |

| Any type of Merrick is all life stages so even if your puppy eats from your retreiver, he will be fine I love the company and what they put in their food. And all Merrick has small bites which is perfect for our little Yorkies. Vivian I had to cut Wellness out as well when I tried it, the bites were too big for Snickers and he put his nose up at it. |

| I recommend Natural Balance. I give my little girl the Potato & Duck formula and its allergy formula and grain free. It has help with her dry skin. Her itching has improved I say all most 100%. |

| Innova Small bites my yorkies are on. I just switched them from Blue Innova was not on the pet food recall list. I am trying my boys on it right now and they seem to like it. Will keep you updated on their progress on it!
