| Hair Loss Daisy is 2 1/2 years old, and lately has been losing hair. I'm using an oatmeal shampoo, haven't switched her food (Science Diet), and she hasn't been exposed to anything different. Does anyone have any idea why this might happen? I'm worried. |

| Any time there is hair loss a skin scrape should be done on the dog to check for mites (mange). I am not saying thats definitely what it is it could be allergies or something else but they should be checked for that

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Is she scratching it out or is it falling out? I would definitely get a skin scrape done. Hope you can get some answers.

| Thanks, sounds like I need to call the vet for a skin scrape. I've noticed her scratching some, but not excessively. I was bathing her about once a week, but have switched to about once every ten days to two weeks...thinking maybe her skin was just dry. Her skin looks normal, its not red or irritated. Thanks again. |
