Help!!! They seem to always be hungry. I hope someone can help me. I feed my babies Stella and Chewy's Fresh from the Farm duck. They absolutely love it, but seem hungry after being fed. I've checked and double checked the portions for their weight and exercise, so I'm feeding correct amount. They also get Stella and Chewy's treat at least once a day, sometimes twice. Even if I give veggies...Gus, my middle, always wants more. Any advice?

How old are they? I asked my vet this question once upon a time too and he said to feed them as much as they can eat because when they are full, they will stop eating. Not sure if it is true for every dog but for mine, it is.

always hungry My dogs are 7 and 11 yrs. old and they are always hungry! I have one very thin one and one that I have to watch her weight! I am feeding NV raw, and under 10 lbs it should be about 3 medallions apiece, and I am working up to that! They too get treats, but they are still always in kitchen! At night I am trying some rice for filler, and can tuna so they will feel better til morning! They only get 1 1/2 raw medallions at the moment, since we are coming off of a bad time with the runs, since I tried putting back dry NV kibble in their diet! I cannot get them back on the kibble with their little tummies, and I am talking about 2 kibble apiece and they still do not do well! So, I am trying to decide whether I will eventually go to home cooking! They do good on the raw, and perhaps when I give them the correct amount for their size they will be alright! I take it slow with them!

Thanks for all the advice...I really appreciate it. To answer a couple questions, my guys are 8, 2, , 1, and weigh 6.6, 6.0, 4.4. They each get two raw patties per day, about 3 oz. total. My two year old is the one that will continue to lick his bowl long after his food is gone. Tonight I fed him double what he usually gets and he's still continued to lick his bowl and the others bowl too. He's a real laid back fella and I'm afraid he'll get too heavy. Forget about walking him, won't walk...we end up carrying him. Maybe I'll add more veggies to his raw...thanks for listening.
