| How long ago was she sick? It's possible that she still is not feeling well. Sometimes when I'm sick I don't eat for days. I would boil some chicken and rice in some chicken broth. That should be appetizing and will be easy on her digestive tract. You can't feed her this ALL the time, though. You'll need to slowly wean her back onto her regular food.

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Wow...do I feel your pain. When my Roobie was a baby I had the hardest time feeding her, and still do. SHe could care less about food. She is 5yo now. When she was a baby she had a hypoglycemic seizure, thank god I had nutracal. The vet told me to boil some ckn thighs w/ some angel hair pasta. She has been eating that since day one, with a bowl of hard food, Science Diet small bites that is always out. She'll nibble on it. I know they say soft food is bad for their teeth, but she WILL NOT EAT NOTHING. She is heathly, very active 6 lb pooch. She is'nt even interested n doggy bones. I finally discovered a treat, Freeze Dried Liver Treats. SHe will eat those. They are expensive. 10$ for a small container. Good luck with the food. Keep us posted. Sharon & Roobie |

| I would try a high quality canned food and try not to switch her too much. If she likes canned, keep her on it for a while until her health gets lined out then you can go to kibble if you want... Try something like Nature's Variety or Natural Balance canned food. It's a good thing she's not that small, you don't have to worry about hypoglycemia QUITE as much as if she was a tiny. Hopefully she will like some of that yummy canned food and get her appetite back!
