| HELP: My Yorkie has some kind of irritation on his neck! As of now I have narrowed it down to three possibilities: 1) An allergic reaction to Frontline (this was only the second time we used it on him, although he didn't seem to have one the first time we applied it). 2) Flea, tick, house fly or mosquito bite. 3) Food allergy. We applied Animax ointment and it seemed to get better. However, today we noticed a some new irritation present in almost the same area on his neck. We applied the ointment again and will monitor his progress tomorrow. I was hoping for some helping words from you folks. Any ideas what it may be? If I had to say that it looked like one thing more than the other, I would go with the mosquito bite. |
