| Wellness Small breed vs. Natural Balance Ultra Small Bites I have narrowed my choice down to these 2. For me...It is really hard to pick between them. ANY suggestions? Which one would you or do you feed? Thanks

First- Wellness has started to supply to Petco. Before they only supplied to small local stores that fed high quality food. THis makes me a bit nervous about quality control if they are now MASS producing. Second- i LOVE Natural Balance- If i was feeding kibble i would feed it. They were involved in the recall and have since changed their formulas. I also love that they are now accountable- you can enter the bar code of your bag online and see the tests it went through and how that bag did. I also love the various formulas they have- many GREAT allergy formulas. So for me- my pick is Natural Balance. | |

| But...Natural Balance is sold through Petco too. I have recently switched mine over to NB and it seems like they're going poo several times a day...might just be from the switch but if this keeps up I'll have to try something different...again. |

| I don't think I've compared the ingredients in these two, so don't know my pick for sure but I'd hope Wellness has taken the garlic out of their food or it would be an automatic no for me. I think it would come down to who produces these foods/what plants they're made at.

| I'm sorry, I didn't know you don't have Petco in Canada. I do like the ingredients in NB but like I said...mine seem to be 'going' a lot more now. I'll wait til I'm almost done with the kibble I have and see how it's going then. |

| they both ARE great foods- i like that NB has LESS ingredients- and it shows that Wellness doesnt' have garlic anymore so that is good. I honestly dont' think you can go wrong with either- but again you were just asking our opinions and if i was feeding my dog- it would be NB |

| are their poops firm? Layla poop 3-4 times a day- and she eats home cooking but her poops are firm so it really doesn't matter than she is going 3-4 times. |

| The ingredients look comparable and when none of the "forbidden ingredients" lol are used (I don't really see any here), then I'd focus on what you want in the final analysis. If you prefer higher protein, go Wellness. If you prefer a bit lower fat, go NB. It looks like Wellness contains probiotics whereas NB doesn't. Is that something you really did or really didn't want? There is fish or fish meal in both. Does the fish come from China? Where do they get all of their ingredients from? Is the fish preserved with ethoxyquin? If the fishery did it, they may not have to list it as an ingredient...
