| Help with Watery Eyes All day I hope this is the correct forum for this... if it is not I apologize in advance and please do let me know.. GUCCI has water eyes all day, he didn't have this problem when I first got him and the only thing that has changed since then is that his hair is longer in between his eyes and pokes them.. Could this be the problem? When he sleeps his face dries up, so every morning it's dry, but then the watering begins when he's been awake for about 1 hour. I would think if it was a deficiency problem or eye problem they would water regardless right? or is that incorrect Here are his eating habits: INNOVA PUPPY FOOD 1/2-2/3 a cup a day BOTTLED WATER ONLY Plain Cheerios for training I don't know what else it could be, he used to eat Eukanuba puppy small bites but he still had the watery eyes with that food. |

| Missy's are like that too. I think it's the hair pokin' them. It will grow out. I was wondering if there's a product we could use to smooth the hair down and keep it out of their eyes.

| Teddy's are too and I think its the hair too. I asked the groomer to stop trimming that part so it will grow out to see if that helps. One of his eyes is worse than the other. I just keep cleaning the hair with baby wipes!

| I heard there is Pet Gel by I think Petsilk that works good for that, I plan on purchasing some as soon as I get through the next couple of weeks. I was just trying to see if I can find a Temp solution for now.. I guess just pull the hair up out of his face.. It's not quite long enough to get it all but any out of the eye is better than none. |

| Cleaning them daily is working good for us to keep them from getting all icky, I think that is the only reason they are not still gooey and slicked when he wakes up lol.. |

My Little Man! Donating Member | It is the hair that makes his eyes watery. When Maxi was a pup his hair started to grow and he started to tear. When I cut the hair it made it worse. So I decided to grow his hair. Now it is long and I use Petsilk topknot gel to keep the flyaways down.
