| Asthma attack with occasional vomiitng..... I am wondering if anyone has experienced similar issue. My little boy who is now a year old vomits occasionally. He sometimes has these attacks which seem like an asthma attack. It appears like he can't catch his breath or something is in his nose and looks worn out after. It's like when a person has a stuffed up nose but is runny so they keep trying to sniff sniff. I've taken him to the vet several times as well as ask. One vet prescribed some antibiotics (Doxy..). He does not have any weird discharge. When he vomits, it almost looks like he has acid reflux of sort since I can see bile (yellow fluid) in the vomit. This is not constant but occasional enough I worry. Any advice is as usual much appreciated.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It sounds like it could be reverse sneezing. Here is a link that might help: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...-sneezing.html

| He definitely has reverse sneezing and when I checked with the vet they said no to collapsed trachea. I don't quite get why he vomits sometimes. The noise he makes isn't so much honking but as if he is trying to sniff up a runny nose.

| oh poor guy. I have heard that if you blow in his nose lightly during the little attack it will stop him. He is probably throwing up because he is getting so worked up- poor guy. |
