| How much Boiled chicken? We have just started giving our Gracie some boiled chicken as a very special treat. We give both dry and caned food for her typical food but we would like to start giving her more variety in the treats she gets. My question is, how much chicken can she have in one day? I don't plan on giving this to her as a main meal, but how much is too much? (she would eat it all day if we let her! |

| if it is a treat- like you said and not her main meal- i guess really as much as you want as long as she is eating her normal food (Which is very importnat for her health because it has the vitamins and stuff in it). As long as it is chicken breast (which is very lean) and you boil it (best way to cook it and remove any fat that there is) i'd say as much as you want- i'd just give her tiny pieces as treats- which is really the best treat you can be giving her- it's 100% natural! keep in mind many dogs are allergic to chicken so just watch for chewing her paws. |
