| dragging his butt i've noticed that when lucky is sitting on his behind, he draggs his butt. i've only seen him do it 3 times but still. i read that when dogs do that they have worms. so yesterday i took him to the vet and asked. he said lucky was fine. no worms in his stool and he checked his butts area and its wasnt sore or anything like that... what could this be? is this just a simple itch? or shound i take him to another vet?

| haha it means theres a little something extra in there that dogs usually let out when going #2...my dog does it a lot when she's constipated, it could be that too!

| Your dogs anal glands need to be expressed. You can either do this on your own, or have your dog's vet do it. Check out this site to lean how to do it: http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/Z.../analsacs.html Good luck!

| the only time Gus does this is when he has something stuck. So every time he comes in from going potty,, I make sure he has nothing stuck on his little botty.

| I notice that Gidget does that every so often but it is when her hair gets tooo long for her around her rump (we usually keeep her trimmed short) so I think it is butt itch.....since she gets her glands cleaned regualry and is worm free...I must say though it is the funnyest thing to watch :P |
