| Imodium? I was doing a working interview at a vet's office the other day and the vet prescribed a dog Imodium... I was really surprised, but thought this would be helpful because my two have a tendency to have diarrhea. Anyone know the dosage for a dog?

| i would not give immodium to dogs. I had researched the long term affects on immodium when I was having issues after my galbladder out and the chemical make up of immodium is similar to that of some narcotics- which is why your body goes through withdrawl if you use immodium for a long period of time. While i know you'd only want to use it a few times for your dogs- I woudln't use it at all based on that info. |
