I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | He's definitely going to be bigger than the average Yorkie, but no it's not too big. Many members here have Yorkies over 12 pounds, and this is still very small for a dog.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | He'll weigh less, but he probably isn't overweight at 4 months. You should never try to change ultimate growth by restricting food, at this time brain cells, and teeth cells, and bones cells are growing, and need proper nourishment to be healthy, and strong. You shouldn't ever restrict food until the dog is about 8 months, and then a vet can tell you if the puppy is overweight for his size. How big was he at 12 weeks? They usually double the 12-week size.

| Is this true? Cos 12 weeks was a while ago, and Mocha has only gained only about 1-1.5 lbs since, and I don't think she's gonna get any bigger than this. She is now almost 8 months.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | It's true for the "average" yorkie, but there are many individual differences. Joey doubled his weight, and added a pound.

| Hey thanks! Me and mom wonders everyday if Mocha's gonna get bigger.. Which might be bad news for Lulu, as Mocha forces her to PLAYPLAYPLAY I don't have a problem if she does double up. She seems small for me
