| Innova I am planning on switching Caylee from Puppy Chow to Innova. Do you think this is a wise choice? I am going to be going out of town tomorrow to pick this up so quick advice is appreciated.

| It is GREAT that you are switching. however, Innova puppy seems to have a really high fat content. What are the other brands the store carries? |

| To be honest I'm not sure... I know they have the EVO, but it's the same company. Pet Partners is the store that carries it. I have to drive 45 minutes to the store, and I had only checked if they had that kind bc I had seen it was more natural. Do you have any suggestions. There is a Pet Partners and a Petsmart pretty close if one doesn't have it the other may. Any help is appreciated. I'm SO new at this.

wellness Natural Balance (My personal favorite) Solid Gold Life's Abundance Halo Canidae Any of those brands in a puppy formula are great also keep in mind since you are switching from a "Crap" food to a high quality food her tummy is going to be upset for a few days. Her body is cleansing out the bad stuff and adjusting to the good stuff. She will probably have loose stools for up to 5 days but as long as she is eating/drinking/playing normally there is nothing to worry about. Make the transition slowly and the affects will be less severe. Also once she has been on the good stuff for a while you will notice she poops less which is also normal. her body is able to use more of the ingredients in the good stuff and tehre is less "waste" | |
