| Brushing Teeth At what age do you start to brush their teeth? Someone told me 6 months, but I want to find out from you all |

| Just bumpin this up for u. I'd be interested in knowing this as well....is is good enough to give them something like dentastix to chew on or do u actually have to brush their teeth like you would your own? I hadn't heard that you could brush a dogs teeth until I joined yt. xx xx

| I started brushing mines as soon as I got them. Boy their breath was stinky from the breeder! I think the younger you brush the better they will be accustomed to this ritual as they grow older. I started using my finger when they were babies not the actual brush. We progressed to the brush when they mouth fit the smallest brush I could find. |

| Thanks! I figured starting a routine while they were babies would help them get use to the idea but wasn't sure at what age. |

| I'd start as soon as they come home. Chewing isn't good enough, especially for Yorkies. They need to be brushed.
