Do any or your yorkies like to lick lotion off of you. I lotion up my legs and feet at night and Starsky wants to lick it off. I have to put my feet under the covers so he can't get to them and then I am so hot!! Shylah was licking my arm the other day and I couldn't figure out why and then I remembered I had tanned at a salon that day and had tanning lotion on. Does this hurt them? Or do they not get enough to effect them?

I was wondering the same thing. Mia loves to lick me after I tan and when I put lotion on. I only use Bath and Body so no wonder she likes it...

Mine lick my hands after lotion...i thought my babies were just a little on the weird side...glad to see I'm not alone!

Yes! Whenever I put lotion on Tucker comes all lickeylickey! The first time I thought it was sooo cute that he was giving me love! Then when he started licking my pants where I had wiped my hands off, I was like "Oh." haha.

I think they think it'll taste good because of the smell. Bella loves lotion, I don't allow her to lick it though because I don't to take any chances. She also loves to lick my feet when I get out of the shower

YES! Abbey, my mom's yorkie, my grandma's yorkie, and my sister's yorkie ALL do that. Hehe...weirdos. I guess they just like the taste??? My mom likes when her yorkie does it to her feet but I think it's gross and I'm always like "STOP!!!!!"

Both of mine, but A.J especially, are OBSESSED with licking me after I put lotion on.

yup sophie always wants to lick my arms and hands cause i wear fruity lotion, i guess they think it will taste good cause it smells sweet, but i never let her cause lotion has all these chemicals in it, i don't want her to get diarrhea or something.

Any type of lotion I use Lilly HAS to have a taste or two... or three (you get the point). I have an OCD about washing my hands constantly and especially before bed so I have to keep lotion on them and she sticks that tongue out as far as it'll reach trying to lick my hands, haha.

I dread showers at night I get out and the cats swat at me and chase my robe and the dogs lick the lotion off my ankles while i try to dry my hair.

Bree is famous for licking everyone after they put baby oil or lotion on.

OMG I THOUGHT CHIP WAS THE ONLY ONE! He goes NUTS when I take out the lotion! He'll even go as far as licking the bottle. Hiding my legs under the covers doesn't work... he goes right under with them! He licks my legs to sleep... he's a weirdo... but I love him. I can't stop Chip from licking anything... I think he has doggie OCD... I'm dead serious. lol
