What age did or will you get your pups first rabies shot? (in CA we are supposed to do it at 4 months...but I am dragging my feet)

What about age of spaying?

Did you take dog's weight into consideration for either of these things?

Roxy was spayed at 7.5 month b/c so is very tiny and petite. I think she was 3 lbs at her spay, but she has a very small body frame. I took her for her Rabies shot the week before. (I do not like them to do too many things at once - she had to have 9 teeth pulled during her spay as well).
TJ was 5.5 months for his Rabies shot and Friday is his neuter appt., he is 6.5 months now.

Both of my dogs had their rabea at 4 months old. They were spay/neutered at 6 and 7 month old. My small girl 4lbs did just fine and she was spayed right at 6 months.

where are you in cali????.......... toby is 11 months now and i still havent gotten his, he is mostly an indoor dog, we take walks , but he is always with me and never off the leash.......
