| another picky eater with a twist Ok, Lil Bit is a picky eater. That's no surprise after reading all of the posts here. BUT here's something I haven't seen posted--my furbaby will eat his food IF I feed it to him by hand OR if it's soft food, he'll eat it from a spoon... Yeah, the same food he'll leave in his dish for hours on end. Now, I'm on vacation for the summer, so this hasn't been a problem. I wait until he either gets really hungry and eats from his bowl or I spoil him and feed him "by hand." But I have to go back to work in mid-August. I plan on leaving hard food down for him during the day so he has food available and then offering some soft food in the evening. (If I leave the soft food in the morning my cats would eat it before he had a chance to get hungry enough to eat it himself.) Does anyone have any comments on this plan or any suggestions for a better way of handling this? I'm concerned that he's going to get too hungry and get sick. TIA. |

| Mine is very picky too. His dry food would stay out for 2 to 3 days untouched. I just started shredding chicken and mixing it with food and he eats that as soon as I put the dish down. Maybe you can try that.
