YT 2000 Club Member | Wellness Dog Food? Hi all, just wanted to pop in and ask a question. Maggy May will soon be switching to an adult food, she's been on Wellness Just For Puppies since we've had her, (Now called Wellness Super 5 Mix.) I was at Wellness's website looking at the adult foods they have to offer, I seen the Wellness Super 5 Mix Adult Health and I also seen the Wellness Core, what's your opinions of these, anyone feed them to their furkids? Wondering which one would be better for Maggy May. Thanks in advance. Oh and PS, do these two foods come in small sized pellets? (For small breeds?)

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I'm just really impressed with Wellness Core, personally. I even think it's a great option for an allergy food. I like the mid-range protein level, I like that it's not stuffed with ingredients and it has great meat content. Also, it has a Fish kibble, which I think is just great too bc fish is so healthy for dogs. If I was feeding kibble, I'd probably feed a fish/meat kibble combo. Or just fish.

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | Bella switched too a while back from Wellness Puppy to Adult Chicken. She is now on Wellness Whitefish/Sweet Potato. Really love this product, but the only thing is the kibble is large. Recently, tried alternating the Wellness Whitefish with Solid Gold Wee Bit Adult (Bison). Love the small kibble on this one. Wondering too if the Wellness Core is smaller. I did notice they have a product Wellness Small Breed-Adult?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Mine eat Wellness fish and sweet potato. They all love it. Fair warning though...do not get kisses after eating....fish breathe

| Scooter's on Wellness for puppies too, when I switch I was always planning to go to Wellness core - I've only heard great things about it. But last time I was there I noticed they had a Wellness for small breed dogs. Anyone have an opinion on that one? I'd love to try it if it's just as healthy.

YT 2000 Club Member | Whichever one I try is gonna have to be small kibble, Maggy May has a big mouth in the sense that she has a lot to say, but that's about it, her mouth is actually pretty small and I don't want to put her on a food that's gonna be to hard for her to be able to eat comfortably. May have to get some samples if they have any and compare sizes and ingredients.

| Maggie is on Wellness Core and Franklin is on Just for Puppies. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Wellness. I prefer the Core over the Small Breed just because I like that it's grain-free and high protein. If you're looking for a small kibble though, Wellness Core is not for you. I was surprised by the size... the kibble is HUGE! I have not seen the Small Breed kibble but I would assume it's small, considering it is for small dogs.
