| Interceptor Flavor Tabs Is anyone familiar with Interceptor Heartworm medication? That's what Garrett's vet gave us. It actually prevents more than just heartworm, it's a broad spectrum parasiticide and prevents and treats hookworm, roundworm and whipworm too. I would love some feedback, I hate doing anything without my fellow YT'ers input

| Interceptor is a good product for heartworms but Novartis added about 5 times more Milbemycin Oxime to it so they could make the claim that it kills other parasites. It is okay and Yorkies do well on it but it is more drug than what they need. Most preventatives are like that though.

| We use it on Gizmo, and we've been very happy. I thought it would be a struggle to get him to take it, but he likes them. Heartworms are a serious problem around here, so I'm very careful to use a preventative.

| I just gave Leo this today, so far no problems. The vet said it was great for heartworm and other things. It was free with his starter puppy packet. I hope it works as well as I was told.. and he ate it no problem at all.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | That is what my vet gives his small dogs...Lulu did well on it and Zoey is now on it. He told me he found that the small guys don't have bad reactions to it.
