| Thinking About Changing Food Hi everyone.... So my little girl is on Merrick, and has been from the breeder and we continued... She has wet & dry mix in the morning and night, and free feed dry all day... She RARELY eats the dry, she eats the wet, all around the dry.. My point is we just got a new yorkie a few days ago and I think I want to try some thing new for her, then I can just switch him too (slowly of course).. I have heard good things about these two foods: Karma Lotus What do you all think and what do you feed your babies? (I'm only talking about purchased bagged/canned food, I don't home cook, sorry!) Thanks so much for any tips!! x

| all my girls eat the Life's Abundance dry kibble. They LOVE it!! Just read the ingredients on what ever you decide. Make sure there is no corn, no wheat or soy, and no by-products. If you want to try a free sample, i'll be happy to send you one. Just PM me. The LA is made right there in CA and is delivered right to your door...no more running out of food and you don't have to use any gas! Good luck...anything you try, make sure to transition slowly to help prevent any tummy upset. |

| It isn't in the stores since there are no preservatives in it. They make it only for their customers and ship it out fresh to their doors. We love that convenience and the fact that it isn't sitting around on store shelves forever. It will come directly from the manufacturing plant to your door via UPS. I do have free samples if you want to try it out first. |

| My London eats Nature's Recipe. She loves it and it's all natural with nor corn, wheat, beef, soy, preservatives, or fillers. The breeder I got her from was feeding Royal Canin, but she wouldn't eat it. I had noticed that she was smaller when we picked her up then when we picked her out, but I didn't think anything about it.

| If they prefer the wet, you may want to consider raw. Primal, Nature's Variety and Steve's Real Food are just a few of the brands that make prepackaged raw. You just pop the next day's food in tupperware in the fridge to defrost. Thats all! I like Primal the best because all the meats are hormone/antibiotic free and the vegetables and fruit are all organic. My Ella Bean LOVES it. She eats the pheasant formula.

PS Yes I know this is a somewhat old thread, but I didn't want to start a new thread on an old topic.
