Corn on the cob

I saw some pics on YT of yorkies eating corn on the cob with the caption little corn suckers.

My question is "is corn on the cob okay for yorkies and if so raw or cooked ???

i'm sure it's ok in small amounts. Corn is full of sugar. But i would cook it and obviously no butter or salt.

Lot's of dog's are allergic to corn I know i spend alot money on dog food that doesn't have corn.
Brownie would Most likely die from it since he has allergie's.

Yorkies do not digest corn. as it goes in, it will come out the same way

It was my dogs. and yes all of the comments posted are true. I dont let them have very much, and it is cooked and nothing on it. I dont give them much people food at all. But two of them go crazy when they see corn on the cob. So I let them have a little taste. What can I say, Im a softie

Thanks Linda , I could not remember where I saw the pics .. but I wanted to give some to Jax and Jolie because they would probably love it .

When we cook out, we usually butter corn on the cob and wrap in foil or if they are in the husk, we peel that down but not off, butter, re-wrap and place on the grill till done. We always make one for each of the girls and they just go bananas over them. They have never been allergic to corn, and not all dogs are. Corn like any veggie adds vitamins, minerals and roughage to the diet.
Here is a list of veggies that should be cooked before being fed to both dogs and cats: Corn, peas, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, hard winter squash and any hard vegetable that cannot be grated or pulverized.

Here are the veggies that can be fed raw: Chopped parsley, alfalfa sprouts, finely grated carrots with peel, finely grated zucchini and other soft squash with peel, lettuce and mixed greens, green, red, orange, yellow, or purple bell peppers, fresh corn (especially if chopped up, but dogs can gnaw on cobs) finely grated beets (don't be alarmed when urine or stool turns pink!)

Cooked corn is fine if your dog isn't allergic.
It won't hurt them.
