| Tick Bite Jack had his first tick about a week and a half ago. I removed it and he's been his same old self, but there's a bump at the site of the tick bite. There's no discoloration, it doesn't seem to bother him at all, but it does seem to be getting bigger. I've done a search here and couldn't find anything similar. I was wondering if anybody have any idea what this bump could be, and do I need to take him to the vet. I'd appreciate any help anybody could give me.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Been there Aiden has had 4!! When I took him to the vet last week for shots, I mentioned that to the vet. I got it out but he developed a "eraser" size bump at 2 of the site. The vet said, even if you don't remove the whole body, the tic is dead, and that their bodies will eventually push it all out. I thought they grow back, not true. He's had 2 dear tics and 2 wood ticks. He also started Aiden on Frontline..I thought he was too youn (3 mo) So don't worry. Aiden did'nt seem bothered as much as I wasLOL Melissa

| Oliver had one last year as well, it also left a bump at the site for quite some time, but it eventually went away.

| Thank you for your replies. I know its probably no big deal, but it's never happened before and I worry about him too much sometimes.
