| Microchipped and 4 dog tags later I finally got Mya Microchipped. My vet wanted to wait till she was bigger. I didn't understand his reasoning since even kittens get microchipped. Anyway she didn't even cry but it shocked me when *I*got shakey when after the vet rubbed her I saw blood on his hand. She fine. I actually had to stop her from playing because I felt she would feel the pain later but even seems fine today as well. She has a tag with Our phone number on it and her name a tag for rabies a tag for the city her lic.# and a tag now with her microchip info. I weighed her collar and to my relief it only weighs one ounce. She wears a harness when we walk her. I do feel better now that she is microchipped as a woman who did not see me in my garage actually was crawling hands and knees beside our car parked on the driveway, calling Mya who was tied up. She reached for her leash clip. I scared the crap out of her when I shouted "what do you think your doing?!" She jumped back ...mumbled I only wanted to pat your dog and took off by foot. I was saying to husband it would be a great thing if dog chips were like On Star chips where they could tell you by GPS where your dog is. I guess that will be a thing of the future, tracking chips for dogs or are there some already out there?

| That is totally crazy, I cant believe she had the nerve to try to get the dog out of the garage! Its sad, people just cant be trusted nowadays. I'm glad you were around to witness this. Though Bella is microchipped and has a collar on when we are in public, it still concerns me, I cant even imagine what it would feel like to lose her or have have taken from me!

| Wow unbelievable! I am glad that it stopped there. At least with microchipping you have a little bit more security.
