| Dr. Harvey's Dog Food Does anyone here feed their Yorkies with Dr. Harvey's? I'm looking for a new food that is all natural and as healthy as possible. I was told this is a good way to go. Also, any other recommendations as far as healthy and natural foods go? |

| I have heard mixed reviews about this product. Good luck in whatever you decide! Maybe others have more food suggestions for you I homecook for my two babies...that way I know exactly what they are putting in their bodies, and I don't have to worry about the safety of dog food companies.

| My healthy maltese eats different things, but typically I give her chicken breast or ground turkey breast with white potatoes or sweet potatoes or sometimes oats or brown rice and some type of veggie like carrots, squash, green beans, etc. To get started I read Dr. Pitcairn's book which is extremely helpful for anyone starting out... When homecooking it is absolutely necessary to supplement, especially with calcium. That's why reading a book like Dr. Pitcairn's is really important. You want to make sure that the diet is balanced. The other alternative is to contact a canine nutritionist...
