| Interceptor? I gave Baxter his Interceptor for the first time 2 nights ago. Now he is pooping constantly. It is not diarrhea - he's just going a lot. And he's been very excited. Still playing a lot and eating and drinking fine. I just wondered if the medicine could be aggravating his stomach. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | I se your from Georgia, so im sure you need flea meds too. Sentinnal is made by same Company as interceptor and contains flea meds also. DIggy is very sensitive to meds and this is the only one he has not reacted to. Just an idea for ya!!!

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | right. Sentinnal has both heartworm and flea Meds. Its basically Interceptor with flea meds too. I like giving one thing a month ratehr than 2 different meds.

| I have used Interceptor for years. This is most likely a side effect as diarrhea is listed as one of the side effects. |

YT 500 Club Member | We use the Interceptor in the winter and Sentinnal during the spring, summer, fall months. They both have been good. Never had a problem with either,

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Hmmm....I'm not sure, maybe call your vet and ask about it? Interceptor is the only heartworm preventative that I have ever used - I have had all of my babies on it (past and present) and have never had a problem with it.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Yep Sentinnel is Interceptor with added flea med is all and I to have neevr had a problem with it. I administer sentinnel about 7 months a year as mosquito larva only live at 40 degrees or higher and so far i have never had an issue with fleas. (knock on wood)

| Same here. Sentinnel. Never had a problem with heartworm or fleas. My dogs have been on it so long we don't even have to do the bloodtest for heartworm each year. Now that I like (and so do they).

| Thanks for all the replies. I called the vet today and they are going to swap us to Heartgard. She was not surprised so evidently this is something they are used to. |
