Puppy treats??? Hi everyone, I have a 10 week old puppy and I'm wanting to know what kind of puppy treats she can have. She's been doing a great job in regards to going potty on her wee wee pads and so I would like something to reward her with. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've heard that I can give her cheerios?

Cheerios are great! Meeko loves them! Just make sure you get the whole grain ones and not the sugary or honey ones. You can give them different fruits or vegetables too. Apples, bananas, and carrot are really good. Meeko really likes lettuce too. There are a few members on here who also make organic treats, too. The 2 I know of are Chattiesmom and Diggy4. You can search them in the members list. Be careful tho, DON'T give your baby grapes, raisins, onions, or garlic! I would have thought grapes were good to give but, they are very toxic!!! good luck with your baby tho!!! Theres a few other things that are toxic too, if you go to the stickies at the top of this forums theres a thread with them listed!!

Puppy Treats HI Congrats on your new puppy! I have 4 yorkies with one that has a very sensitvie stomach! Anything procossed would make her ill. I began reading and researching dogs processed foods vs healthy food and figured out why she was getting sick. I came up with some great reciepes that were tried some very finicky dogs! They let me know early on if they liked them or not. I had some pretty tough critics! I enjoyed this so much it has turned into a hobby/business. I make monthly batches for friends and family. The treats are made with whole grains and flours...my dogs like the spinach bacon the best! I make peanut butter, applie/cinnamon, chicken, beef, etc. I make tiny bones up to a huge bone! They last for awhile. I put them in a clear cookie jar and give them out several times aday! I freeze any extra bones that I will not be using that week. Pretty cool! If you are interested in a bag. Let me know! My E-mail is dvweez@sbcglobal.net Vicki Wiesner
