| wellness I currently have Gizzie on RC Yorkshire and she has done great on it but after reading so many neg reviews I decided to try Wellness, I got some samples from my vet today. it is the fish and sweet potato blend, I'm excited about trying it but will she get a little sick at first b/c of the abrupt change, I know your suposed to mix at first but I'm all out of RC so do you think It would be ok to just give her the straight wellness or shuold I mix some rice with it at first until her belly gets used to it. Also those who feed wellness how do you like it

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Personally, my dogs have never had issues with diet changes - so I think it completely depends on your dog. I mean, theoretically, food is food - so variety and changes should actually be easy - bc food variety is good for them. Feeding the same thing over and over, forever, can actually cause problems and acquired allergies. So, it's kind of up to you. If it were me, I'd honestly probably just give it a try. Plus, you're moving to fish and potato - which is about as easy as you can get, in terms of digestion.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I fed both of mine RC...now Ramsey has never had a big tear problem, but Reese did...someone suggested the Wellness in case he was allergic to the corn in the RC. His eyes cleared right up. No potty problem with the change. I wondered more if they would turn their nose up to it...nope.

| Xavier just switched from Chicken Soup to Wellness and it was an easy switch for sure! You'll be glad you did it!
