| HELP! Can't find Puppy Plate anywhere, urgent. My boy has a sensitive stomach and Merrick Pupply Plate is what has been working best for him. No one within 300+ miles has 1 bag of Dry! I have some samples of Canidae that I am trying to find, I think I can give him that for a day...but I think they got thrown out. The place had Merrick Wilderness and Campfire Trout blends. He's 6 months old so I don't know if I should be giving him those foods. It looks like the earliest I could have some Puppy Plate would be sometime next week. Help! |

| Thanks for your help. I was trying to find a place to Next Day Air it, but they all want $60+ for it. Being in shipping, I know these price are outlandish. If I don't find another option I may have to take you up on that offer! |

It isn't a good idea to switch foods without transitioning over 4-7 days but a pup can eat those other ones for a couple days. They just might lack nutrients that pup food has, but it won't hurt for a few days. Not slowly transitioning could cause GI upset though.

| You should try and find someone with an internet store not to far from you, if you call the company they should be able to help you, that way the shipping will not be so high. |

I'll probably grab some of the other Merrick if these Canidae samples run out. Ugh, what a nightmare. | |

YT 2000 Club Member | I use the Puppy Plate too for my Jeter but I did notice that All the Merrick food is" ALL Life Stages" so you should be fine giving him the other Merrick food that the store had instead of Puppy Plate for now.

| Update: Brody LOVES Canidae, he hasn't exhibited any GI disruptions either. Maybe I should just keep him on the Canidae, lol. |

| Until only recently, I fed Puppy Plate to KaCee and Wilderness Blend to A.J. I never noticed any GI problems when they would get into each others food. I'm think it would be safe to feed another kind of Merricks if you can get it easier.
